Such is the beauty of travelling that there are numerous ways to express your travelogues. Some express it through video documentaries, some like me write about my experience and some express it through breath taking pictures they take on their journeys. Although the concept of journey of travel blogger remains same (that of sharing experiences) the ways are different. One such way that has taken internet by storm is stunning collection of travel photos on popular social media site Instagram. Fundaat brings in this beautiful story brought in by www.bookahotel.in
Russian photographer Murad Osmann is travelling the world with his girlfriend Nataly Zakharova. He clicks photographs of Nataly in front of world famous monuments where she is seen grabbing his hand and pulling him closer. I came to know about this series when a friend of mine sent a set of photos on my WhatsApp. The photo series is named “Follow Me”. The series is a hit on Instagram and other online forums. Recently the couple was in India and has creating moments which can be termed as simply priceless.
Never mind how many clichés you have heard or seen it on web, when you see it in person, it still blows your mind. It was the love of Shah Jahan for his beautiful wife which resulted into making of this building made from white marble, inlaid with gold and semi-precious gems. Murad says “It is hard to explain the emotions that you feel the first time you see the Taj Mahal through the entrance doors. It truly is one of the world’s best wonders”.
Situated in old Delhi amidst a very compact area to the west of Red Fort is the largest and the most prestigious mosque in India. This mosque can host 25000 devotees offering their prayers. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan who also built the Taj Mahal and Red Fort. Murad says “its scope amazes you. There is a very loud market surrounding it and yet with every step as you walk inside you become more and more peaceful and relaxed.”
Most important in Hindu mythology this is the oldest and holiest city of India known with many names, be it Varanasi, Benares or Kashi (The luminous).A city whose existence is traced a long way into the Vedas and Puranas, Varanasi is the land where the dying people come with their own wish to hear lord Shiva whispering the mantras of Salvation after death. Murad Says “It was the city we were most excited about visiting having seen so many photos and videos of it”.
The western destination of the Golden triangle of the tourism in India Jaipur attracts several thousand foreign visitors from across the globe. Fondly called as the Pink City of India, Jaipur is assuredly the most beautiful among the ancient cities of India. Murad has captured two beautiful monuments of Jaipur, Amer Fort and Hawa Mahal. Amer Fort which is built on top of the hill is a majestic reflection of the ancient era and its rich history. Whereas Hawa Mahal is a palace which was built to let the royal ladies of the court view the daily activities in the streets.
It is really hard to describe the beauty and significance of the city that was voted as ‘World’s Best City to Travel To’ by Travel+Leisure website in 2009. An ultimate holiday destination where laziness is guaranteed while exploring the narrow lanes, larger than life palaces and a historical voyage in this paradise.
